The wound picture comparison you see is 2 weeks apart! The wound is looking amazing! Today he was sedated to clean up the edges again and to make some adjustments to the piece of tissue that was stitched together last week. Tomorrow buttons will be applied to start closing up the wound.

There is concern about how bowed his front legs are becoming, so it’s being watched. He came in with hair loss to his face which is getting worse so treatment for Demodex mange was given.

His wound was recultured and current antibiotic therapy put on hold until culture returns.
