I didn’t want to get out of the bed this morning and face that this day means another year that’s passed since mom’s been gone but I did & I’m glad.
Saves # 14 & 15 for the year were crossing 119 when I got to them. They were just yards apart and about the same size. If I had stayed in bed, they probably would have gotten hit.
I wouldn’t have gotten the call about the kitten that’s been hit had I stayed home because I don’t have cell service there. I’m not sure what will become of the kitten yet but he is at a vet.

I was called just now by a man from Logan who hit a cat on his way to work in Mudfork. He hit the cat at 6 a.m. and he was still alive so he loaded him and has sat in his truck since then calling places looking for help but no one helped.
So I agreed to help, he just dropped the cat off to Knowles in Logan.
He says the cat can’t use its back legs.
We need emergency funds!!!
